The Loren hotel at Lady Bird Lake in Austin

Nestled along Austin's beloved Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail, The Loren Austin is the first urban hotel in The Loren collection of boutique properties. This mixed-use project pairs hotel rooms and residences in a decidedly treehouse-like design, crowned by one of Austin's newest favorite rooftop restaurants—the perfect spot for sunset cocktails. Amenities include a luxury spa, gym, and rooftop swimming pool, with the hotel and residence portions bridged horizontally and split by a paseo: an open-air passage with a glass elevator that visually binds the two programs.

But the true signature of the property is our exterior: large Water Ripple panels in various stages of natural patina. The ripple texture bends and plays with the light, its tone evolving through the day's shifting light and glistening most strikingly in the golden hour—greeting visitors on their commutes in and out of Downtown Austin with a facade that feels alive, never static.
